Systems we build

Web Design & Development.

We design and develop engaging websites built to increase your leads and convert more sales. Custom to your audience, not a theme reskinned in your color.

Before & after

What this engagement actually changes.

Status quo

Your site looks five years old. The buttons go to a contact form nobody reads. You added pages over time without a system, so the menu sprawls and nothing converts. Your last agency handed you a Wix login and disappeared.

After the sprint

A site keyed to a named ICP. Every page maps to a buying stage. The lead pipeline writes to your CRM in real time. You can read what changed week to week, and the experiments keep shipping after launch.

Deliverables

What you walk away with.

Named artifacts that ship, not verbs. If it’s on this list, the sprint isn’t done until it’s in your hands.

  • Marketing site (6 to 40 pages, custom-coded on Next.js)
  • ICP card set keyed to the audience map
  • 301 redirect plan signed off before DNS flip
  • Lead pipeline writing to your CRM with server-side events
  • Component library your team can ship against without us
  • Two-week post-launch experiment cycle with a written read

5-phase fit

Where this plugs into the system.

Every FH engagement maps to one or more phases of the 5-phase process. Lit chips are the phases this service ships against.

  1. Phase 1Census
  2. Phase 2Public Data
  3. Phase 3ICPs
  4. Phase 4System
  5. Phase 5Sprint

Engagement details

Pricing factors, in plain English.

No mystery line items. These are the specific inputs that decide how the engagement is sized and what ships at the end of it.

  • 01

Page count and template variety (5 pages vs. a 40-page marketing site)

  • 02

Integrations — CRM, scheduler, billing, analytics

  • 03

Whether content is migrated or written net-new for the launch

  • 04

On-brand visual system or custom design system

  • 05

Post-launch experiment cycles bundled with the build

Inputs

What we need from you.

Get these together and sprint zero starts the same week.

  • Brand assets (logo, fonts, photography if any)
  • Current site analytics (GA4 read access)
  • CRM credentials or named CRM stack
  • List of competitors you actually lose deals to
  • 30 minutes of your time on Friday for the demo

Anti-patterns

What we won’t ship.

Hard rules. If your last agency promised one of these and the engagement broke, that’s why.

  • A theme reskinned in your brand color
  • A site without a 301 plan signed off
  • Stock-photo hero with a fake-diverse team
  • Hand-off without component documentation
  • An accessibility score under WCAG AA on launch day

Fit check

Who this is for, and who it isn’t.

Right fit

  • Operators replacing a site that hasn't moved a metric in two years
  • Series A teams post-funding who need the brand to match the round
  • Service businesses opening a second location or expanding to a new geo

Wrong fit

  • Anyone who wants a $1,500 template build (we'll point you at Squarespace)
  • Brands without a defined audience yet — start with Positioning Sharpen first
  • Teams who want the agency to also own the brand voice forever

Stack

The tools we run on this engagement.

No surprises. You see the stack before sprint zero so you can flag anything you already own a license for or want swapped.

  • Next.js 16 + React 19

Server components, React Compiler, fast everywhere

  • Tailwind + design tokens

Your team can ship against it after we leave

  • Supabase (Postgres + Storage)

Lead pipeline, multi-tenant image hosting, RLS-scoped

  • Resend + Twilio

Email + SMS notifications with per-tenant sender control

  • Coolify on Hetzner

Predictable hosting, no Vercel surprise bills

Questions operators ask before they book Web Design & Development.

  • How long does a typical site build take?

Six to eight weeks for a marketing site we’ve fully scoped. Tight launch windows can squeeze sooner; we’ll be honest about whether the date is real before you sign.

  • Will my site rank in search after the rebuild?

Yes — every URL gets a 301 plan signed off before cutover, structured data gets parity-checked per template, and we run a staging site in parallel for two weeks before the DNS flip. Your existing rank doesn’t go dark on launch day.

  • Do you handle hosting and ongoing care?

Yes — you can hand off the site to your team or roll into a Recurring Site Care plan. Most clients keep us on for the first 90 days at minimum so the launch experiments actually get measured.

  • Can my team edit content after launch?

Yes — we build with a CMS shape your team can ship from on day one. Most clients go with a headless setup (Sanity, Payload, or our own Supabase-backed admin) so marketers don't have to file a ticket for a copy change.

  • What does a single-service site build cost?

$2,500 to $20,000 for a single-service site without the ICP work. We adjust the cost downward when you also partner with us on SEO, social, or ads — long-term partnerships earn the discount, not the first invoice.

  • Do you outsource the build?

No. Every file in your repo was written by someone on this team. We don't sub-contract to overseas dev shops; the person who built it answers the Slack message six months later.
