Before & after

What this engagement actually changes.

Status quo

You're on page two for the keywords that close. Your last agency sent a 40-page audit with no fixes. The content you've paid for ranks for terms your buyers don't search. Your inbox has impressions; your CRM has crickets.

After the sprint

Topics keyed to a buying stage, not a keyword list. Schema and indexation parity-checked per template. A written weekly read that ties to leads. Backlinks earned from operators in your category, not directory junk.

Deliverables

What you walk away with.

Named artifacts that ship, not verbs. If it’s on this list, the sprint isn’t done until it’s in your hands.

  • Keyword strategy mapped to ICP buying stages
  • Technical SEO audit + remediation plan
  • On-page schema implementation per template
  • Monthly content (2 to 8 pieces, you pick the cadence)
  • Backlink outreach with named target list
  • Weekly read tying rank, traffic, and leads together

5-phase fit

Where this plugs into the system.

Every FH engagement maps to one or more phases of the 5-phase process. Lit chips are the phases this service ships against.

  1. Phase 1Census
  2. Phase 2Public Data
  3. Phase 3ICPs

Engagement details

Pricing factors, in plain English.

No mystery line items. These are the specific inputs that decide how the engagement is sized and what ships at the end of it.

  • 01

Keyword breadth — local map-pack only vs. national category capture

  • 02

Content production cadence (2, 4, or 8 pieces per month)

  • 03

Technical SEO scope — Core Web Vitals, schema, indexation

  • 04

Link acquisition budget and outreach volume

  • 05

Reporting cadence — weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly

Inputs

What we need from you.

Get these together and sprint zero starts the same week.

  • Google Search Console + GA4 read access
  • Current keyword list or last agency's report
  • List of 3 to 5 competitors you actually lose deals to
  • Editorial calendar if your team is already shipping content
  • CRM read access to tie rank back to closed revenue

Anti-patterns

What we won’t ship.

Hard rules. If your last agency promised one of these and the engagement broke, that’s why.

  • Buying links from Fiverr or a private blog network
  • Scaled AI content with no operator review
  • Vanity dashboards that don't tie to leads
  • Hidden text, doorway pages, or any blackhat tactic
  • Schema markup that misrepresents the page (Google's enforcement is real)

Fit check

Who this is for, and who it isn’t.

Right fit

  • Service businesses ranking 4 to 15 for terms that should be in the top 3
  • Series A operators with a recent rebrand and rank that didn't follow
  • B2B teams whose buyers research before the call

Wrong fit

  • Anyone expecting first-page rank in 30 days (it doesn't work)
  • Brands without enough demand in the category to rank for
  • Operators who want black-hat shortcuts — we'll lose your account either way

Stack

The tools we run on this engagement.

No surprises. You see the stack before sprint zero so you can flag anything you already own a license for or want swapped.

  • Ahrefs + Semrush

Cross-checked rank + competitor data, never one tool's word for it

  • Screaming Frog

Crawl + technical audit, runs locally so we see what Google sees

  • Google Search Console

The only ranking source that's authoritative

  • Schema.org JSON-LD

Built into every template, parity-checked per build

Questions operators ask before they book SEO Management.

  • How long until I see ranking movement?

Local SEO can move in 60–90 days. National category capture is a 6–9 month commitment before the curve bends — we’ll tell you which one your spend buys before sprint one.

  • What proves the work is actually working?

A written weekly read: impressions, clicks, ranked keywords, and the next experiment we’re running. No vanity dashboards; the numbers tie to leads, not pageviews.

  • Do I keep the content if we part ways?

Yes — every page, every backlink, every piece of schema markup belongs to you. We don’t hostage-hold.

  • Will Google penalize me for AI-written content?

Not for using AI. Google penalizes scaled, unhelpful content — same rule that's always existed. Our writers use AI for research and outlines; the final draft is reviewed and edited by a human who understands the topic.

  • Do you do link building?

Yes — but only outreach to real operators in your category. No PBNs, no Fiverr packages, no comment spam. The links that move rank are the ones a competitor couldn't buy.

  • What if I'm already ranking well — is SEO still worth it?

Possibly not. If you're already top-3 for your core terms and the leads are closing, SEO spend gets diminishing returns. We'll tell you to redirect the budget to PPC or social before taking the engagement.
